Brother Anthony was bon in 1942 in England and entered the Community of Taizé in France in 1969. He has been living in Korea since 1980, teaching at Sogang University, where he is now an emeritus professor. He has published many English translations of modern Korean literature, mostly of poetry. He and Hong Kyeong-Hee co-authored “The Korean Way of Tea,” published by Seoul Selection in 2007.
